Are-Ess-Ess
I’ve often wondered how sites that survive via advertising go to publishing via RSS and stay alive. I think I’ve figured out a major piece of that puzzle.
If you don’t have RSS, I forget your damn site and never return.
I might once and awhile, but I’m much more likely to get my news from you if you provide it in a convenient way. I’m also used to the reading style that blogs have made prevalent: reverse chronological single-column. So many sites are still laid out all ugly and hard to read. Reverse-chrono-uno-columnar isn’t the end all be all, but there’s a great disparity between sites that are ‘hip’ to RSS and those that are not. Seems that the non-RSS folks are stuck in old ugly designs as well. Display some fucking adaptability!
