8 Hours Burned

WoW consumed about 8 hours of my weekend. These were accumulated while my daughter was napping, or after her mom got her on Sunday evening.

Blizzard hasn't done anything revolutionary, AFAICT. What they HAVE done is take all the little good ideas from all the other titles and rolled them into the Warcraft universe. This has the net effect of making a damned good game.

I chose tailoring has a profession, mainly because the mobs tend to drop alot of the raw materials required. My skill level is now 25, and I can make a near full suit of linen clothing, all with no armor values. But, my white linens shits are to die for, I assure you.

I made level 10 easily, and damn near got 11 before I logged for the night (which I did at 10pm, much to Renée's delight). I did this by completing quite a few quests over the course of the evening. I even grouped for the first time, which resulted in quickly completing a quest involving the slaying of a named Scarlet.

Level 10 for a Warlock is a pivotal time due to the acquisition of a Voidwalker. Voidwalkers are a significant improvement over the wimpy Imp that acts as your sidekick in earlier levels.
