Things I've Learned This Week

Today I'm going to start a weekly feature. I'm very inquisitive so I am always pulling in new facts and figures that I didn't know. I'm going to start documenting a few of them over the course of the week and pushing them out on Fridays. I'll try and provide links when applicable. On to today's list:

  • You can machine wash oven mitts.

  • Jimmy Carter studied nuclear physics in college.

  • The pointy thing on the end of your headphone cable is a Jack Plug. Jack plugs are not just for audio. Here's a pinout for the 5G iPod's AV cable. (I had never known how different channels were conducted through what looked to be a single pin, now I know)

Since I didn't know I was doing this my list is light today. I'll try and document more so next Friday's is bigger.
