The recent hand wringing on the Intertron about Wikipedia can be quite easily summed, wrapped, and presented. Tycho once again comes to my rescue and puts words to the dilemma:

What you've proposed is a kind of quantum encyclopedia, where genuine data both exists and doesn't exist depending on the precise moment I rely upon your discordant fucking mob for my information.

I'd also like to congratulate PA for having the comic referenced in the post actually present at the time I read the article. Ever since their redesign they seem to be having some kinks in that department.
