Christmas Post Mortem
Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at 9:59AM Brenley is the perfect age for Christmas. It's a whirlwind holiday where she is snatched up by separate people at different times, carted around the area to various people's houses, and is showered with gifts during all her waking hours. She managed to endure the hardship and enjoy herself, bringing home enough junk that I have to delay throwing away some of the packaging while my trash-man catches up. I only represent half.
Yesterday capped an abundance of time with my daughter. I will now have two weekends of non-Brenley time. This is both a blessing and a curse.
All of Christmas went off without a hitch. All the gifts that I gave were well received and all that I got were much appreciated. The spending of gift cards will commence once the post-Christmas retail lunacy calms.
I have nothing interesting to say about the weekend, really. I feel the rumblings of a nice year-in-summary post coming later in the week. I'll probably be holding back until then.
