Take this with the proverbial NaCl: The Massacre, 50 Cent's new album, sucks.
The Dre Formula (precisely timed, head-nod inducing minimalist beats with clever harmonic garnish) is taken just a bit too far. There are a few good tracks, but nothing that makes me feel bad about the way I got 'hold of it.
I also didn't like Get Rich or Die Trying when it first came out. I came around later. We'll see if that happens this time.
