General Update

I haven't take the time to post anything lately because there hasn't been anything to talk about. :)
On the Apple front, a user calling himself 'As Seen On TV' has been posting startingly well-informed and realistic information about Apple on Slashdot. He replied to the recent brouhaha over videos in iTunes via Slashdot comment, and Christopher Allen summed things up quite well.
I've been hacking on Telemetry at a slow, comfortable pace. I had a hard time find a place to start, but last night saw the completion if adding aNode and associating it with the various Systems . This terminology is intentionally ambiguous, and when I release the first version of Telemetry, I'll post a crash course.
It should be noted that I currently have a smooth, happy relationship with the union of Tapestry and Hibernate. I had a bitter run in with this couple a few months back. I decided to revisit the idea and after investing a few hours of reading and googling, I managed to scrape together a working DAO with Hibernate as the backend, and add some code to my Tapestry Engine class to manage a ThreadLocal Session. I'll post how I did this when I'm sure it works for all my uses. There seems to be an internet cabal that protects this information. Welcome the revolutionary.
