Interweb Doldrums

Sometimes it's hard to focus. Fridays often fall into this category. The Fridays that I get to pick up my daughter are the worst. I get so excited that I want to push everything else out of the way. Ask me about this in about 6 hours and I'll tell you I can't wait for her to go to sleep. That used to bother me, until I remember that even with two parents around, you still want them in bed. Problem solved.

My friend Nathan told me today that I'm not writing enough. I told him that episodes of The Wire tend to consume me in the evenings. Hell, my car needs to be washed. Anyone who knows me knows I can't stand a dirty car. Shows you how much I like that show.

I think that having my relationship back on even keel has also caused me to discuss more of my life with my wonderful girlfriend, and less with the Interweb. I've managed to accumulate a wildly large amount of traffic this month, part of a steady increase. I don't really know who reads this thing. Whoever you are, you are some non-commenting mufuckas, that's for sure.

So, I guess you could say it's been a boring week. I've spent a lot of time watching TV, a lot of time on the phone, and less time doing whatever else. There was some golf noise this week, but it never materialized. It's just too damned hot. Maybe it's too hot to blog.

Cory -

My Friday fell into the same category as yours so I took the time to visit your site. Today my boyfriend and I celebrate 2 years together so I was glad to see that you and Renee had reconciled. Congratulations!

Give my best to your mom.

I was pretty glad to hear it myself!

It was just a slow day all around. Work was boring, lunch was boring, meetings were boring. Boring!

Two years? Congratulations! Renee is going to be moving here sometime in the not so distant future, we just have to work out the details.

When I talk to my mom, I'll tell her you said hello! I'm sure she'll say the same ;)
