Finally!
I finally got to play World of Warcraft today. My cable internet is now working, after I went to Comcast’s office and swapped out my modem. I had to power cycle it 5 or 6 times, but it finally stayed up and downloaded WoW overnight. Good lookin’
The game feels like a Blizzard game, which basically equates to ‘good’. I’m excited by how busy and how useful they’ve made a noob feel. I’ve already completed a handful of quests, everything from gathering scavenger paws to killing a named Undead. There are ample equipment slots to fill, and I am constantly finding new gear to equip. I accidentally sold my new Flax Boots right after I got them as quest loot. D’oh!
I just hit level 4 and acquired my Undead Warlock’s first pet spell, Summon Imp. The servers have gone down for some reason, so I got a chance to breathe. My ex is coming to get my daughter in about half an hour, so even after her nap is over (that’s when I’m playing) I’ll have a few hours to kill with the game, assuming it’s back up ;)
