I’m try not to talk shit about people when driving. Everyone has bad days and makes the occasional mistake. I’m no different. Today, however, must have been the day when quotas are caught up and filled. Some highlights:

• An SUV nearly running into a curb @ 40mph. Not a rounded curb but a square one.
• A small sub-compact car pulling out in front of a dump truck. The driver was apparently not a physics major. Luckily the truck reacted quickly because it was very close.
• Two completely separate individuals driving 35mph in a 55mph zone. (Good day to have a turbocharger)
• Two near accidents due to people not using blinkers.
• Guy reading a newspaper while driving.
• Two fouled up 4-way stops where people obviously don’t understand the first one there is the first to leave and when you tie the person on the right goes.

I was happy just to have made it in today. The silver lining was that traffic was relatively light.

The title is a reference to Outkast’s Wheels Of Steel from ATLiens.
