Nathan started a ‘show me your car’ meme, which gives me an excuse to talk about my car. Even though Nathan sees me admiring my car all the time, I’m still not one to disappoint:

That’s my darling. 2004.5 Volvo S40 T5 with sport and convenience packages. Xenon HID headlights, body kit, etc. ~215hp rolled into a fairly small, nimble package that regularly averages 30mpg. It’s not a common car but it’s comparable in price and performance to the more common 325 or IS. The angle I chose for this picture makes it look a lot like it’s older sibling, the S60. I tend to like smaller european sedans. I’ve never owned a big vehicle and I’d probably bump into things if I did. I drove a Montero for a while and wasn’t impressed by it’s girth.

It’s actually the second one I’ve had. The first was black with premium audio but I had huge problems with it so they equity-swapped a service loaner to me that didn’t have the premium audio but did have some other features I didn’t have before.

I’m a bit over-protective of her, but I always told myself when I was younger that when I was able to acquire such a nice piece of machinery I would take great care of it.
