Pool Tables

My grandparents have had a pool table for as long as I can remember. When I was little I used to sit on top of it and concoct my very own billiard games and play for hours. This hasn’t contributed to me being some phenomenal pool shark or anything, but I can handle a cue sometimes. I’ve recently become quite addicted to playing pool, and my lifelong desire to own a pool table is coming to a head.

I’ve been shopping around a bit lately. I’m not quite ready to throw down the skrilla just yet, but today I found an unlikely candidate for my purchase. I’ve searched on Google a few times, but today I found KGI Billiards. The tables they hawk seem to be of higher quality than most tables I’ve seen, and they are definitely cheaper. The customer testimonials don’t have enough negativity for me to feel comfortable, but everything seems to be on the up-and-up.

We’re talking 100% solid Oak or Maple, 3-piece 1″ oversized slate, and Championship felt. They even include a free accessory kit and they ship for free.

It looks like they are able to offer these prices by not maintaining brick and mortar storefront and using unfriendly frieght delivery. Installation is your problem, but I’d prefer that a professional setup my table, rather than some guy who delivers furniture.

The Breckenridge, Burlington, 8′ Vail, and the Telluride are all on my list of nice looking tables.

After tax returns come back and I pay off a couple things, I may give them a call.

I am going to take a look at the tables in a second, but after seeing the names I WANT TO GO SNOWBOARDING. All of those tables are names after ski resorts.

My vote goes for the Telluride. Though I don’t really get a vote. They all look nice.

Did you end up getting a KGI table? If so, what do you think? I started looking at tables and started to get the fever. And since I am newly solo again and have that big empty living room… I started looking at Presidential tables (very sweet) but need something a little more within my means at the moment. The KGI’s look to fit the bill. Brian
