iMac Observations
This thing gives me the beach-ball of death all the damned time. I’ve got day-to-day first-hand experience with both a dual-core Powermac G5 and a 1.5Ghz G4 AlBook. Neither of those systems give me this much trouble. Updating my iPod (4,996 songs) apparently does the computing equivalent of kicking the iMac in the nuts over and over.
