Things I Learned This Week
- 50% of automotive pollution is caused by 10% of the vehicles. (I saw this somewhere and I don’t feel like finding it. Might not be true)
- Like the mac mini but disappointed in it’s anemic processor options? No worries! Intel’s looming Merom processor will work in the mini with no hacks.
- Most of us know of the Hindenburg disaster from the newsreel footage and the announcer’s ‘Oh the humanity…’ quote. That audio and video were not actually made together. The audio was dubbed over the newsreel later.
- The most decorated German during World War II was Hans-Ulrich Rudel. He was credited with destroying over 500 tanks and a few major warships. Germany invented a military decoration just for him. He flew my favorite plane, the Junkers Ju-87 Stuka.
- Wait! Don’t eat that polar bear liver! It could kill you!
Words: neoligism, livery, maudlin, cataract
